Harassment / Discrimination Policy

At Himalayan Group of Professional Institutions, Kala Amb, we are committed to maintaining a work and educational environment that is free from discrimination, harassment, and any form of misconduct. We believe in fostering an inclusive and respectful community where all individuals are treated with dignity and fairness. Discrimination and harassment based on race, colour, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic will not be tolerated.


This policy applies to all employees, students, contractors, vendors, visitors, and anyone else associated with Himalayan Group of Professional Institutions, Kala Amb.

Policy Statement:


We prohibit any form of discrimination in employment practices, admissions, educational programs, or any other aspect of our operations. Decisions regarding recruitment, hiring, promotion, training, compensation, or any other terms and conditions of employment or education will be based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.


We do not tolerate any form of harassment, including but not limited to verbal, physical, visual, or written conduct that creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment. Harassment may include offensive jokes, slurs, epithets, threats, intimidation, unwelcome advances, or any other conduct that interferes with an individual's work or educational performance.

>Reporting Procedure:

Any individual who believes they have experienced discrimination or harassment, or who has witnessed such behavior, is encouraged to report it promptly to the designated authorities. Reports can be made to Human Resources, the Title IX Coordinator, or any other appropriate authority.

Investigation and Resolution:

All reports of discrimination and harassment will be promptly and thoroughly investigated in a fair and impartial manner. Confidentiality will be maintained to the extent possible, and individuals involved will be protected against retaliation. Based on the investigation findings, appropriate corrective action will be taken, which may include disciplinary measures, up to and including termination of employment or expulsion from the institution.


Himalayan Group of Professional Institutions prohibits retaliation against any individual who reports discrimination or harassment, participates in an investigation, or opposes discriminatory practices. Retaliation is a serious violation of this policy and will result in disciplinary action.

Training and Awareness:

We are committed to providing training and education to employees, students, and other members of our community to prevent discrimination and harassment, promote diversity and inclusion, and ensure compliance with this policy and relevant laws.


Himalayan Group of Professional Institutions is dedicated to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all individuals. We take allegations of discrimination and harassment seriously and will take appropriate action to address any violations of this policy. By adhering to these principles, we can foster a culture of mutual respect, dignity, and equality.
This policy is effective immediately upon issuance and supersedes any previous policies on discrimination and harassment.
